iHobby show

I went to the iHobby show today since it's only 10 minutes from my house and I had nothing better to do...... There really wasn't much to see model wise, as others have posted, a 1/12 scale Mustang (yawn), 2010 Camaro (ZZZZZZZZ.....), reissued Superbird (haven't built mine from the last reissue.....), maybe the only thing of interest in the Revell booth was the Jungle Jim Vega Funny Car reissue. AMT/MPC had an empty box for the Gremlin Custom, nice but I would rather see a "stock" Gremlin. They also had a box for the 1/16 Petty Charger on top of their desplay, but no info on if it would be reissued or not and I couldn't find anyone to answer any questions. Aioshima (or however you spell it) had some really nice glod BBS wheels along with 2 other new sets. Moebius had a very attractive woman at their booth, but NO KITS, just a list with "sugested retail price" (for the kits, not the woman........I checked.......twice...............). Really the only surprise was after I got home........While looking through Trumpeter's catalog I noticed a 64 Falcon Sprint and 65 Falcon Ranchero listed, I didn't see any mention of it at the show. Also, while looking through Revell's catalog I found a HUGE or should I say "giant" misquote in their catalog...............did anyone else notice that ???

I guess it's a good thing that not much is happening in the hobby, I haven't been building in at least a year anyway. By the time I start to get caught up, maybe things will turn around again and there will be kits worth buying.............
