I'd like to see them reissued, largely because I've found other Fort GT kits to be of inferior quality, at least as far as engine detail and historical accuracy go. Three of the kits in the old Testors series were GTs (one red, one white, one black), while the other three were a black '48 Ford coupe, a dark green Ford-engined Lotus Indy racer, and the Cougar II kit.
Lindberg has acquired a number of old Testors kits (the most salient being the Area 51 UFO and San Francisco cable car), so when they came out with the Cougar II kit, naturally I was anxious to learn whether Lindberg acquired the other 5 kit molds in the series, so I contacted someone named Tim at Lindberg, and he asked me if I knew any of the kits' old stock numbers.
I didn't, but I was able to find images online of 4 of the other 5 Ford kits in the old series, 3 of them photographed in their original boxes. I'm going to send them to Tim and ask him if he can find out the fate of the old Testors molds, because I'd sorely like to see the old kits reissued once more.
